Bathroom Cleaning Tips
- Quick and Easy Way to Clean Toilet Bowls - Don’t pour bowl cleaner directly into the bowl, the water will dilute the chemical. Thrust a soft bowl brush into the throat of the toilet several times to force the water out of the bowl. Apply bowl cleaner to the bowl brush swab and mop all around the inside of the bowl. Let the chemical sit a few minutes to do its work, then flush.
- To Clean Rust Stains - Pour lemon juice on rust stain and let sit for 1 hour. Rinse. If stain still remains, repeat process with white vinegar. You may have to repeat process more than once.
- Clogged Shower Heads - Can be cleaned by placing warm vinegar into a large plastic baggie. Place shower head into baggie, seal it and let sit overnight. Then use old toothbrush to remove mineral deposits. Rinse shower head with warm water.
- Caulking - Can be cleaned with rubbing alcohol.
